This was our amazing campsite... on a cliff 100 ft above the water, on a grassy hill... we could hear the waves while we were sleeping.
Sean and Luke spent a lot of time surfing in the gorgeous, clear, freezing water, while Bethany and I watched seals pop their heads up next to them.
Elephant seals are not very cute, but we did see a lot of them... they're huge.
Although we had planned to camp in Morro Bay this weekend we ended up driving up the gorgeous 1 hwy and camping near Big Sur. We found the most amazing spot called Kirk Creek and had such a peaceful and relaxing time... everything was so green and breathtaking.
