Today I set up a wedding with the fabulous Camille Panzarello. It was a day that started out rainy and cold (so unusual for August), but that turned into the most beautiful, warm, sunny day right as the bride arrived - I love it! It reminded me of how everything comes together in the end (after all the planning) and the day is beautiful simply because it's THE day. Working for Camille is so fun. I have learned so much for her as a designer, watching her incredible artistic eye, especially for color and balance.
Today I was remembering my most favorite wedding with her - up in Montecito, CA at the bride's home, the couple wed under a hand made arch covered in olive branches and white garden roses. The garden was so fragrent with lavendar, roses and lemon trees. It was very Provencal and took me right back to France. The coordinator was the amazing Rebecca Stone of Duet Weddings. The bridesmaids dresses were made by the bride's friend - the fabulous designer Heidi Merrick - I loved the soft shades of blue. The reception flowers were the most perfect combination of color and texture - they were the inspiration for my own wedding flowers. These photos are from the amazing Jose Villa. Oh, I love these images... to see more, check out Snippet & Ink. Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weekend. xoxo
